This
month has been a real cherry on top of my reality working from my dream. Even
though my company has been put to work since 2005 and getting its first push by
2007 we have been making moves more toward branding the label;
which is what I
have been learning this month. The book 22 laws of branding have kept my eye
focus more on showing the attitude of the company and not the movement of the
company through just words but actions, and these actions draw feelings and
show emotion from our hard work so far. This brings the name into the functions
that Aicid has been looking for to serve up to the consumers that we have and
want to keep touching near and far from the company. Our
mission has not stopped. Our mission to bring more passion to the artist form
of art delivery is one thing but to know how to put together the features and
benefits for the consumer that will need our services from marketing to sells
is the information I have been looking for. Even though Aicid has had a logo
for sometime now, this has given me the knowledge to think of an extra logo
that I feel can take on the website look for the hardcore labels that need that
partner or assistance in growing with the knowledge that was taught through class
this month.
The
brand of a company is so important that without it the legends that have made
it wouldn’t know about brand loyalty as I have found out. Through what I have
learned not only from this school of business but from my bachelor’s degree in marketing
and advertisement, that brand loyalty for what you will spend your money on has
nothing to do with cost. This is because a costumer will buy what they like or
love. This is the same reason why Jordan is still a big seller even though
Michael Jordan is retired, or is it?
The
making of the first thing that people see is the logo or what represents the
brand and to the small business men/women out there do your homework cause
color, shape, size, and even taglines can land you in hot water if you don’t
find out if there is anyone else with the same sort of design or tagline. The
knowing that all these years the words that I have been building my brand from
(known as mantra) have been those of determination, motivation, and being
proactive. This month only shows me that I am a true entrepreneur for my bucks
and I want to say that I am very glad that when I am fully done with more
education from the book side of learning that all I have used and done will not
be in vein but more blocks to push that will have A.I.C.I.D Records ringing
bells like L.L. Cool J and the “Kango Hat ” that he helped brand before he even
endorsed FUBU. So I leave this question to my readers was he branding himself
or was the brand he was endorsing branding him? Study and reply if you really
want to be apart of Entertainment on fire.
